Graduated in 1986 from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
1993 - 1995, deputy head of the Board of Directors of the "RATO bank".
March - December, 1995, head of the Board of Directors of "Resource bank".
January - Septemer, 1996, general Director of "Interros" company.
1996 - 2000, first deputy general Manager of RAO " Norilsk Nickel".
2001 - 2002, member of the Board of directors of "Norilsk Nickel" company.
October, 2002 - December, 2003, deputy chairman of the State Committee of Russian Federation for sports.
December, 2003, elected governor of Tver region.
President of "Managers' Association of Russia".
Married, with three children.
