1987-1993 - second secretary, then first secretary of the USSR (later Russian) Embassy in Czechoslovakia (in Prague)
April 1993-1995 - department head, European Directorate, Ministry of Foreign Affairs
1995-1997 - head of the Baltic Countries Department, European Directorate
April 1997-1998 - presidential aide for international affairs
Sept. 1998-Mar. 2004 - deputy head of the Presidential Administration (in charge of international affairs), and simultaneously (1999-2004) head of the Presidential Directorate for International Affairs
Mar. 2004-present - re-appointed to the position of presidential aide for international affairs
Married, with two children.
