Christer Pursiainen is Senior Research Fellow at Nordregio – Nordic Centre for Spatial Development (Stockholm). He was Project Manager and Acting Director at Aleksanteri Institute (the Finnish Centre for Russian and East European Studies, University of Helsinki). He has extensive experience of working on Russia-related projects for the Finnish Institute of International Affairs.
Dr. Pursiainen is a key EU expert for support to European-Russian relations. He is also the author of several books and numerous articles, including those devoted to Russia’s foreign and domestic policy.
