LISITSYN, Anatoly Ivanovich
Governor of the Yaroslavl Region
 Born June 26, 2947 in the then Kalinin region (now Tver region)
1977 - graduated from the Leningrad Forestry Academy
Dec. 3, 1991 - appointed acting governor, then governor of Yaroslavl region
Dec. 17, 1994 - elected governor with 51.5% of the vote
Dec. 19, 1999 - reelected with 63.8% of the vote
Dec. 7, 2003 - reelected with 73.1% of the vote
Member of the State Council
In 2001 became first recipient of the Russian National Olymp award "Governor of the Year."
Hobbies: reading, carpentry, hockey
