ISHAYEV, Viktor Ivanovich
Governor of Khabarovsk Territory
Born April 16, 1948 in Kemerovo region.
Graduated from Novosibirsk Institute for Engineers of Waterway Transport
October 24, 1991- appointed head of Administration of Khabarovsk territory.
November, 1993 - apppointed to the Federation Council
January, 1994 - terminated the activity of the Council of People's Deputies
December 8, 1996 - elected Governor of Khabarovsk territory with 76.95% of the vote
December 10, 2000, re-elected with 87% of the vote
Married, with two children.
