DUDOV, Nikolay Nikolayevich
Governor of the Magadan region
Born Jan. 1, 1952 in Severo-Zadonsk, Tula region.
Graduated from the Novomoskovsk branch of the Moscow Institute of Chemistry and Technology.
1999 - 2000, representative of the President of Russian Federation in Magadan region.
November, 2000, appointed deputy governor of Magadan region.
Oct. 2002, after the death of Valentin Tsvetkov (former governor of the Magadan region), became acting governor of the region.
Feb. 16, 2003, elected governor of the Magadan region in the second round.
Married, with two daughters.
