CHUICHENKO, Konstantin Anatolievich
Head of Legal Department and Member of the Board, Gazprom
Konstantin Anatolieavich Chuichenko (Константин Анатольевич Чуйченко)is the head of the Legal Department at the state-owned gas giant, Gazprom. He graduated in 1987 from the same university as Russian president-elect Dmitry Medvedev and was one of Medvedev's only colleagues to take a position with the security services after graduation.
He is expected to play a role in a Medvedev adminstration.
Chuichenko was born July 12, 1965, in the city of Lipetsk, about 270 miles southeast of Moscow.
1982 to 1987 – Student at Leningrad State Zhdanov University, profession - jurisprudence.
1987 to 1989 – Internship, Prosecutor's Office of Kalininsky district of Leningrad.
1989 to 1992 – various officer positions in security services
1992 to 1994 – Executive Director of the Joint Stock Company “Interaudit de Faria and T”.
1994 to 2001 – Member of St. Petersburg International Bar Association (lawyer of the 1st Legal Aid Agency of the Moscow branch)
2001 to present – Head of Legal Department of Gazprom.
2002 to present – Member of Gazprom’s Management Committee
2004 to present – Executive Director of ROSUKRENERGO AG.
