Born March 8, 1963 in Moscow.
Attended Moscow schools
Began working at the Fraser plant, where her parents worked.
1982-1989 - worked as a research associate at the Insitute of Economic Problems in Moscow.
Later she graduated from the S.Ordzhonikidze Moscow Institute of Management.
1989 - elected to head the Secretariat of the All-Russia Union of Affiliated Cooperatives.
In the late 1980s she met her future husband Yuri Luzhkov whom she married in 1991 - the same year she founded her company, Intenko, which is involved mainly in construction and plastics.
According to Forbes magazine, she is the richest woman in Russia and her net worth is more than $1.4 billion.
She rides horses and is the president of the Equestrian Federation of Russia
She and Yuri Luzhkov have two daughters, Alyona and Olga
