Official relations between Britain and Russia are still strained, but curiosity about one another’s cultural offerings remains as strong as ever. An innovative festival by an independent British foundation last weekend sought to stoke that interest, at least amongst a certain class, by bringing the cream of Britain’s artistic elite to Moscow’s A-list nightclubs and galleries.
