The battle of words over Kosovo’s independence seems to have reached its climax as Serbia and Russia managed to convene a meeting of the UN’s Security Council on the issue. Whatever the result of the meeting, the declaration of Kosovo’s independence, scheduled for February 17 seems to be an inevitability.
