CHIRKUNOV, Oleg Anatolyevich

Governor of Perm region 03/07/2007

Born November 15, 1958 in Kirovsk, Murmansk region.

1981 - graduated from the Perm polytechnical Institute.
1988 - graduated from Perm State University.
1991 - 1994 -  trade representative of the Russian Federation to Switzerland.
1994 - 1996 - deputy general manager of "EX Limited" company. 
Since 1996 - head of the "EX" companies
1997 -  elected to the Legislative Assembly of Perm region.
January, 2001 - March, 2004 - served as representative of Perm region in the Federation Council
March, 2004 - appointed acting governor of Perm region after former governor Yury Trutnev was appointed Natural Resources Minister of the Russian Federation.
2005 - Confirmed as governor of Perm region
