Transneft is a state-owned Russian oil company, which primarily deals with transporting oil. It was established by presidential decree in August 1993.
Norilsk Nickel is the world’s largest nickel and palladium producer and is also a leading producer of platinum and copper. In 2010 the company produced 297,000 tons of Nickel, up 5.1 percent on 2009 levels. The company attributed this rise to production increases at its Russian plants and Finnish nickel refinery Norilsk Nickel Harjavalta. Norilsk also produced 93,800 tons of copper last year. The company posted total revenue of $12.775 million for 2010.
